Makoa's Birthday

Makoa turned two on the 18th of May. It was a Monday and Greg didn't have to work, so we had a fun filled family day.
We went out to Beslee Flatts (about 20 mins away) and played in the "Dirty" Verde river. It was so much fun. There were some little rapids that we went down. It wasn't very deep and Greg and I were hitting our butts on rocks before we went through the rapids. We laughed and played and had a great afternoon.
Then we went home and gave Makoa and dad a nap while the girls and I bought presents, wrapped presents and decorated the house (a little).
Makoa woke up to presents and cake.
Well, not actually cake, we filled up a little wheelbarrow with chocolate pudding and crushed oreos. Then we put gummy worms in it. It was a huge hit. The kids loved it, they only eat the frosting on the cake, anyways, so I thought that it would be the perfect treat.
I posted a ton of pictures, I probrably should have done a slide show, but I didn't.

Brinlee and I through the rapids. (Afton went, too, but I don't have a good picture of it) We got a bunch of videos that I'll have to post later.

Makoa just waking up. (It's like Christmas)

big present for a liitle guy.

This was his favorite present. I didn't need to get him anything other than tractors. He loves them, they go everywhere with him.

Yummy birthday treats. Happy Birthday little man!

Enjoying his treat in his new chair outside.

Notice the perfect handprint on my knee.

One of Makoa's prizes was a bubble lawnmower. He loves it and is mowing my lawn all the time. I hope he gets used to it because someday it'll be his job.
Chonee kept attacking the mower and the bubbles and Makoa would get really mad when Chonee got in his way.
