Sneaking up...

Everything has been sneaking up on me this year. I've turned thirty, which is totally crazy and I have three unruly kids. Really they are great kids, but I find myself struggling to remain the boss most days. They are all growing up so fast.

Christmas is just around the corner and I have nothing for Koa, yet. Greg and I went to Target the other night and walked around for about an hour and a half coming out of the store with one $5 Strawberry Shortcake movie for Brin. We just don't know what we are going to get Koa. I wanted to get him a train table and trains, but they are out of our budget this year. He will be happy with anything, but Greg and I just haven't found that right present yet, nor have we been in the mood to shop. I know, terrible. We finally got the girls a few things. I ordered most of them online, which was nice not having to shop around the stores.
I'm going shopping today, while Scottee watches my kids for me. Gotta get it done.

Even the baby is sneaking up on me. I feel like I've been pregnant forever, but we have a c-section scheduled for Jan 14th. Crazy fast!!!
I will be 37 weeks on the 13th and we will do an amnio to check and see if her lungs are ready and if they are, we will have her the next day; Jan 14th.
The doctor said that we are going to have her as soon as she's ready to prevent mother nature from throwing any curve balls our way. The longer we wait, the more the complications seeing as how this is my fifth c-section. The doctors wanted me to be done last time and they REALLY want me to be done this time. We're not doing anything permanent yet.

I realized that I forgot to post what we are having.
Can you guess? Do you see anything between those wide open legs?

Neither did we. Although, Greg did ask the doc, "are you sure?" :)

Woot Woot! You want me to come stay with you again? I can only come if you don't mind me bringing two others with me.

Nancy,

"Only a true friend would be that truly honest."

My favorite quote from Shrek.

How did your lesson go today?

Don't believe everything the doctors tell you. Sue Smiths sister had 9 c-sections. You will only ever regret the ones you didn't have. Be still, and know that He is God.

You know the hystarectemy's are really trendy right now....All the girls my age were done having kids ages ago. But little Maryn is sleeping here next to me, and I know I could have said no, but I am so glad she is with me. These last 3 little ones were worth every bit of it, (and it was no small thing).

Have a really great Christmas. And your little angel will be here so soon. I am really excited for you. Tell Greg hi.

Congrats Nancy! I can't believe she will be here so soon. Too bad that it won't be on the 13th though because thats when I turn the dreaded 30!!! How are the kids feeling about having another little sister in the house?
