Emery's Blessing

Emery's blessing day was very nice. We had my parents and Brock in town from Idaho, so we blessed her at only one month old. But hey, I say the sooner, the better.
It really was a lovely day.
Greg gave Emery a special blessing that will help carry her through this journey we call life.

We, also had some good friends come at 9:00am from an hour away. So thanks Alberti's and Spencer's for making the trip.

My mom made Emery's blessing dress!! It was beautiful!!!
And she did it in one day-way to go mom!
You can't see very well in the picture, but the material that is on the skirt part of the dress has tiny, shimmery jewels in it. It really was a fabulous dress!
Mom even put some tiny little bows on the front hanging down and then three on the back where the buttons were. (She totally cheated and did velcrow instead of buttons.) Sorry mom, I just gave your secret away. :)

Scottee made me a beautiful bow to put on the pretty ribbon headband that Liz sent me.
The blanket that she is on is the one that Grandma Halladay, who has since passed, made for me when Afton was born.
Emery was adorned with gifts of love from lots of the family. So, thank you everyone!
