So Many Firsts!!!

Life is passing by so quickly bringing us many firsts!

We've had our first trip to the dentist with Afton. And I have to brag, NO CAVITIES!!!

Afton got her first pair of bifocals. Usually you'd think older folks in bifocals, but we're just that cross-eyed.

And speaking of cross-eyed Mary's, Brinlee's been crossing alot lately too and so she got her first pair of glasses. (The pictures are down in another post.)

Makoa got big boy underwear for his birthday and he had his first pee and poop in the potty. What a big boy!

Koa also, got his first camo hat with his dad and his first gun. I'm not sure how I feel about that one. :)

Emery has been beating everyone out in the firsts department. She rolls over. And Greg gave her her first rice cereal. She's had her first foods. We started with squash, then carrots, then applesauce.

Afton got a coin in her goody bag to put in the machine and get a prize!

It was a really good experience for a first timer at the dentist.

I wasn't ready to feed Emery food yet because I already feel like she is growing up SO fast, so Greg went out and bought a box of rice cereal and fed her her first food!
He was just wanting to fill up her tummy more, so she'd sleep longer. Although he doesn't get up with her anyway, so he must just have been thinking of me. right hun?!? (He reads my blog.) :)

Shortly after we moved on to real foods and here she is having some squash!

And here is her First biter biscuit. Really she is still young for these, but I let her suck on it while I do the dishes sometimes. We have to watch her closely though.

Greg and Koa went to Fathers and sons camp and had a great time. They went up with Brain and Jaxson and got to sleep in their trailer. Which was more fun for Greg because last year Greg said he didn't sleep at all because it was so cold and he was worried about Koa because he kept coming out of his sleeping bag. Then Greg put Koa in with him and Koa doesn't sleep still. Needless to say, Greg got much better sleep this year.


Yes, that's my boy holding and shooting a REAL gun. Greg got a kid size gun from his boss and I'm not so sure about all this. But Greg assures me that they'll be safe.
