So PROUD!!!!

If this face doesn't just say it all!
She is so PROUD of herself and WE are so PROUD of her, too!!!
Afton finally did it!!!
The last swim meet of the season was at our pool, and with it being the Last meet for the year, we convinced her to swim.
Her first event was freestyle which she took second place in against six. She did great!
We are so proud of her for doing it. She is such a good little swimmer and it was just priceless to see how happy she was with herself for doing it and making us all so proud.
Grandma Randee told me that Afton told her that if she would have known how fun it was she would have done it more. What a little stinker!
I KNEW she would love it if she would just give it a chance!
So, our persistence paid off!
It was a great end to a first year on the swim team!

This is Coach Jamie. She was only Afton's coach for the first couple of weeks, but she was so sweet to Afton and helped her on the first day of swim team and at the first meet when she was so nervous.

Brinlee and Koa were such good troopers to be out in the heat and support Afton.

The baby pool was opened up a few times, so the little ones could cool off.

It was SO HOT!!!

These three munchkins (My good friend Audra'a little girl, Makenna with my two kiddos) played in the water when they could, ate food and candy and, moved their chairs all around.

And Emery got wet and fell asleep for a bit.

Greg worked a shift at the snack bar.

We had to take a picture of his "cheesy" smile!

Afton's second event was backstroke and she took fourth place!

Yep, she swam twice!
