I love going home to Idaho. Even though I haven't lived there for eleven years, I still call it home. Idaho will always be home to me.
On Thanksgiving morning, the girls went into mom's store and made a ton of pies. (my mom owns a wedding catering business) Anyways..
Afton made a little bunny with some pie dough, she baked it and put frosting on it and everything.
This is my mom and Afton with her creation.

Afton's finished pie!

So the wind always blows in Idaho (ALWAYS!), but by some miracle on Thanksgiving day it didn't. It was still freezing butt cold, but so much fun.
We played for hours in the snow while the turkey was cooking.
My kids usually don't have the proper snow wear because after all we do live in Phoenix.
Well, this year we hit up a few DI's and were set. Nobody cried or whined, just laughs and smiles and a whole lot of fun.
That is until we made them come in and eat. (it's funny how horrible of a parent you are if you make your kids eat something warm and yummy.)
Here are a few pictures for you to enjoy of our fun!

Uncle Steve and Makoa crashing

Whoo-ah Closeup!

Emery wasn't a huge fan of the snow, but I can't blame her. She looks like the kid from the Christmas Story. It's not fun when you can't move. :)
Cousin Makiah is in the orange hat.

This is crazy Waylon! Where's your coat? You're nuts!

Aunt Andrea and the girls. In the front is cousin Kaelee.

Makoa and I made a snowman!

He's a nut boy, too.
This is Afton and cousin Briton. They had a blast sledding. They went down the hill and crashed over and over again, laughing the whole time. It was the BEST sound in the world.

This is dad. (Hope he's not upset I posted this picture) :)

Just look at these crazy eyes.
(I love ya, dad!)
At the end of the trip we went up to Rexburg and see my little sis, Liza. She had her second baby and named her Oakley.
We were so excited to get to see her before we left.
