That's right....
E for Emery!
At the beggining of the summer...
this small one got the cutest little glasses...

Emery, along with my other girls started going crosseyed, so off to the doctor we went and sure enough we were sent home with a glasses perscription. Seeing as how little she is we needed the ones that wrapped all the way around her head...

They are also made of a plasticy silicone material which means they can get stepped on, dropped, sat on, you name it and they won't break.
Good things, too because they were pulled off and dropped from her car seat onto the street the same day we picked them up. I was so worried we'd have trouble getting her to wear them, but after only about a day of putting them back on her constantly, she keeps them on well. (probrably because she can see better, ya think?!)

Toward the end of summer...
(since school starts in two weeks here)
Emery visited the ER with a half chopped off finger...
Makoa and Em were playing in the back yard. There was lots of laughter and it was a great Friday morning. Then they came in for breakfast and Em turned around to go back out while Makoa slammed the door shut...And I mean slammed! The door was shut tight with Em's finger inside....
(Disclaimer: Look away and scroll down a little if you have a week stomach)

As I opened the door, I knew right away I needed to go to the ER. There was a ton of blood and I wasn't even sure if the finger was still attatched.
Luckily, Greg was home, so grandma came over and played with the kids and Greg and I took off to the ER.
After some good meds and sudation, they stitched it back on with only two stitches, (Her finger is small.) and wala...all better...

Well, sort of... we had to put a major gauze job and sock on it to keep her from pulling it off..

We love our Emery Sue! She keeps us laughing constanly. She has the best, happiest BIG personality!

Our Summer has had a ton of inbetweens and now hopefully I can catch up on some blogging that I've missed.

She is adorable. I want to give her a big squeeze! So sad about her finger but glad it is all better. Love you guys!
Oh my gosh that poor girl. Her finger looks so gross and painful. Glad she is ok.
I'm loving all the cute pictures you have of your kids on the sidebar. They are all darling!
