This year we shared Turkey with Greg's little sister Scottee. It was a mixed family, some of the Page's some of the Barry's. We all know each other and go to the ASU games together, so it really was a fun time.
Grandpa Brock is down from Idaho and he and Koa have been hanging out quite a bit. Makoa likes to go to Circle K with grandpa and so for this family home evening that we did , we made these cute turkeys (that I found on Pinterest-another new addiction) and we told the kids to give their turkeys to someone that they are grateful for. As you can see, Makoa picked papa Page because "him takes me to Circle K to get Canddyy!"
All the kids went over the grandma Randee's and made these cute Turkey shirts out of their hands for the big day. ( we like to say "cheeseBALLS" instead of "cheese" I guess)
I went a little pie crazy.. so fun! I made two chocolate cream pies, two pumpkin (because the jar was big), and one apple. I was so proud of myself.

Our next Holiday adventure takes us "out in the ol' front wheel drive sleigh to embrace the frosty majesty of the winter landscape and select that most important of Christmas symbols"
(that's all from the top of my head.. impressed, I'm sure)
...so, we cut down a small one, put it on a box and wala, we have a beautiful Christmas symbol.

My birthday fell the weekend after Thanksgivng this year and I slaved and slaved over these fabulous stocking (although it's not a great pic of how cute they are.)
I also, made GReg stop at this cute little antique store in Camp Verde on our way to get our tree and I paid way to much for all these antique knobs, but I love love love them!
While I was away, Greg made me this hanger for my stocking to go on.. I know, He rocks! (most of the time..hehe)

flowers, too?! I love you!

It wouldn't be the Holidays if we didn't get to sit on Santa's lap...
Or go to A Christmas concert...

(Afton performed a dance at the annual Christmas performance for the school..she sang of course, too. This is all the kiddos with Mrs. McCool.)

Brinlee sang, too. Her girl scout troop went to an elderly home and caroled. Brinlee knew all the words and did great. I was so proud. Afterwards, she went around to talk to some of the elderly and gave them cards that she had made. It was quite touching!

And it just couldn't be Christmas without making Gingerbread houses. This year instead of sharing, we all made our own. Emery ate sosososo much candy. She's our candyholic!

We also adorned our kitchen with snow and snowflakes. ( I totally stole the idea from a friend and once again Pinterest.) The picture doesn't do it justice. It looks awesome!

This last picture is the surprise present from papa Page. He bought a tortoise, a rabbit, and six parakeet. They are for the kids, but they get to live with grandpa and the kids get to visit. Can't beat that kind of deal, eh?!

Fun! I love your stockings! They're cute. And the hanger Greg made is very cool. Way to go on your pies! They look yummy. I had fun pie ventures this year too. Yummm!
Love the cute turkey hand print shirts. Your tree cutting down tradition is so cool! I love that you guys are so outdoorsy!
Holy long post. Love it though! Your kids are so much bigger than last time I saw them. Brinlee looks like such a little doll in the picture with their turkey shirts. Your pies look awesome and your rolls look amazing. Is that teacher's name really Mrs. McCool. love the gingerbread houses and snowflakes. I will have to copy you and do the snowflake thing next year.
