I went out and bought some white paint to make them "girly." It was fun to paint them! Greg took Afton and Makoa with him to do a landscape job, and Brin and I got to spend the afternoon together. It's not very often that it's just her and I, so I made sure that we enjoyed ourselves. I gave her a paint brush and she painted the opposite side that I was on, then I "Helped" her with her side. She did a great job! We had a fun time painting, then we went in and had some ice cream and sang to her favorite barbie movie.
The bonus is we got the bunk beds all painted, dried, and covers on before bed time!
And I love good deals. I spent $12 on paint and so we got two new bed for $12! Wahoo!

Look at that technique!

Lots of fun! It saves so much room! Hey, about the dogs - get a super soaker. There is nothing worse than getting sprayed in the face with water! I would bet a lot of money that helps. If they get at it you let them have it. -or, wear shoes. :)
Hey Fancy Nancy... I heard you are having a yard sale next week. I'll bring over some junk for ya... Now that you have new beds, do you still need that frame I gave ya? I could use it in my studio for guests to sleep on, my brother stays over all the time.... It's okay if you don't have it anymore..
What a transformation the white paint made! Nice work!
