Feeling Frumpy...

In every pregnancy, there is that time before you really start to show a belly. You could be prego or just a little O.
Until this last week, I've looked very pudgy and then all of a sudden there was a bump. I 've been so frumpy, not wanting to get dressed because nothing fits right or looks good. My hair is in a ponytail everyday.
I call it my "ugly faze." I go through several of these a year. :)
I'm just so lucky that Greg loves me even when I'm at my ugliest. He showed me his true love for me when I was in the hospital. I had just had one of the kids (Quinn or Afton-I can't remember which) I was a having a hard time with my bowels and he stood at the bathroom door and let me squeeze his hand, while cracking poop jokes from Austin Powers with my friend Emily.
To me, at that time, I was at my worst. I was so ugly, I was an emotional wreck. I was tired and grouchy.
Greg stood by me through it all and let me squeeze his hand. And he told me I was cute sitting on the potty. (What a line!) At least I know that he loves me at my ugliest!
The other day I was having a down day and feeling ugly, Greg went out to the car and came back in with a Keith Urban CD. He turned it up really loud and sang along with the words to "One Hot Momma."
He does such a good job at cheering me up!
Today, I went to get my hair done. That always makes me feel less frumpy!
Greg calls me his "Hot Momma."
Until my next ugly faze that'll do for me! :)

You are one hot momma! I'm glad Greg doesn't let you forget it. Congrats on the Pregnancy! Do you know what you are having?

I can't believe you feel ugly. You always look amazing. I admit that I have some bad down days. A little exercise seems to help me feel better, although it never makes much difference in how I look. For awhile, my body still 'looked' strong. Now it's gotten puffy...water retention, extra blood. That tone look is gone. It's all good though.

You still look great. Your face never gets puffy and your hair looks great. You look amazing.

This cracks me up! You are beautiful but I can relate with those "ugly fazes"....as if everything else we go through as women isn't enough :) Tell Greg to keep that CD handy..what a good guy!
