Christmas Day 2009
We had a lovely Christmas.
Our kids are at that perfect age to make it so fun!!!
The anticipation, the excitement, the smiles, the laughs, the hugs and kisses!!!!
I love it all!!

I made Cinnamon rolls like my mom always made for me growing up, and we opened stockings and presents.
I tried to do something a little different this year. My good friend, Sunshine told me that she only gets her kids three presents patterned after the wise men.
They usually get something fun from Santa, then mom and dad get them something that they need and something for their brain.
I loved that idea, but it is so harder than you'd think. I had such a hard time with narrowing my list down of things that I wanted to get my kids.
We did good, though.
Except, I got them two toys rather than something for their brain because we have lots of books and none of my kids read yet. (Although if you go to Costco, they have some pretty cool learning books.)

Then we headed over to Randee's for biscuits and gravy like grandma Halladay used to make. Yummmm
Everyone was there on the Page side except Montana and Melanie.
Kenzee came with her boyfriend Gary and Brock came over, too.
It was a really nice Christmas Day.
Sidenote:
Now that no toys from Santa is no longer a threat,
Can we call Santa and have him take them all back? :)
