Eight!!

I am so excited!!
I don't have pictures to share because my computer is being stupid, but I am so excited that I have to share this with the world.
I was mowing the lawn last night and along the back wall under the boganvia bushes, I spotted what looked like eggs. So, I went over to investigate and low and behold there were
eight eggs!!
I'm not sure how long they've been there, but we've been checking for eggs for a while because it's time for them to be laying.
And the funny thing is is that we were just saying that we need to trade these ladies in if they don't start earning their keep. But, they were!

And it gets better!!!!
Last night we put some golf balls in their coop in the lay box, encouraging them to lay there.
This morning I was out with the ladies, one was being really loud and I was trying to get her to be quiet, and one of the chickens was in the coop in her box sitting in the golf balls. She even moved them.
Then, (this is the best part) one of the chickens came to the door and I squatted down, put my arms out, and said "come here," and she did! She jumped into my arms!!! So cool!!
I held her for a little while and Brinlee came out to pet her comb and waddle. It was so cute, too because she told me what she was doing while she did it.
It's so much fun!!
I am so excited!! and so happy right now!!!

(I'll work on pictures later, I don't what to ruin my mood.) :)
