Anniversary Sunset!

more rewind......

Jan 7, 2011 was Greg and I's eleventh anniversary!
I can hardly believe I've been married that long.
So much has happened to Greg and I in the last eleven years. We really have grown together in all our adventures. We've gone to school, played, worked, moved around, bought a few houses, played some more, had a family, worked, played, had more family. And it's all been one big rollercoaster ride of ups and down.
When I was younger, I loved to ride the Collosis at Lagoon in SLC, Utah. I remember my dad took me on it at least once every year. I was so scared, but I really wanted to go on it. One year, my dad told me that he'd tell me when it was ok to open my eyes. I have to tell you that this roller coaster has two loops in it. So, I was upside down and dad said, "ok, open NOW." As I opened my eyes, I remember seeing the ground. I WAS UPSIDE DOWN! I screamed, but came off the ride wanting to do it again.
As I look back at this experience, I think of my life being married to Greg. I was so young. I took this mans hand and followed him down to Phoenix, away from everything I knew. I was scared, nervous, excited and happy all at the same time.
Greg and I've had our moments of being scared, screaming, and wanting to do it again. I don't know that I would say that I want to repeat some of my trials or adventures. But, I would take Greg by the hand and do it all over again!
So, to my better half. Thank you for making me better. And thank you for our adventures!
143! Forever!

This year, I got a little crazy and wanted to climb Camelback Mtn. So, we did. However, we're getting old (ahem, Greg! he has old man hips. hehe) and we stopped at the saddle. It was beautiful and actually, I'm glad we turned around because if we had kept going we would have been on the backside of the mountain and missed this......

Wow! I love Arizona sunsets!

I love kissing pictures, too :)

Heavenly Father gave us the BEST Anniversary present! I could have stayed there for hours enjoying it! And since Greg locked the keys in the car, we got to while we waited for a spare to arrive.
So, thanks Randee for coming to our rescue.

Happy anniversary! What a cool hike. The sunrise looked lovely, and how sweet for your anniversary.

I loved Greg's tribute to you in the Relief Society literacy paper!
