The Beach 2011

Emery was a huge help with setting up camp this year..look at how hard she worked...

it's a tough job, but somebody has to do it....

We love the Beach...

There are so many fun things to do there..

like...

swing in the hammock,

spread out and admire the loot...

Every year, someone ends up locked in Chillee's cage....

Having fun at the beach...

We like to dig holes and build mountains....

...and bury people...

Koa surfed some major waves this year...just look at that form...

Bike rides are for foggy morning and evening adventures...

WE got a little silly one night..

and went tattoo crazy..

I put this on Greg while he was sleeping...it's supposed to be a skull with a bow and kiss...

he stared to wake up and said "oh, it's cold"...I said "it's ok, honey go back to sleep" and he did.

Then the next day...

i left my baby for an hour and Greg's cousins tattooed her...

i exspecially like her tramp stamp just above her diaper....don't you?

this beauty could seriously live at the beach...she goes down at sun up and stays down until sun down...

...Afton picked up boogie boarding this year, too and it was awesome to ride the waves in together....

it's been a great day and it's a long climb, but you can do it little one! We are almost to the top!

Koa chipped away at this little block of sand until he found the tiny dinosaur bones inside...what an archaeologist...what dedication....

...and there is nothing like climbing an awesome tree at the end of a sandy, beachy day...so until next year...
